The Alaotra Grebe

The Alaotra Grebe (Tachybaptus rufolavatus)  or known as Madagascan bird has been confirmed extinct. According to Birdlife International the bird was last seen in September 1985. Read the full story at BBC Earth News : Alaotra grebe confirmed extinct
